Indias lost cause @ Peth

So here we are, India starting at a 3-0 defeat, social media/blogs imploring for the heads of the senior players. It is well documented that the Indian media tends to be overly harsh on our Cricket team. Although sympathetic with the Indian team at times, it is instances like this that I beg to differ. Being the defending champion as recent as 2011, has to set some kind of minimal expectations amongst the fanatic Indian fans. Disregarding the fanatic minority/majority (still unable to decipher), the rest of the Indian fans at least deserve a “match up” against a relatively inexperienced Aussie side. So much for all the talk about this being India’s best chance of winning in Australia. It is shocking to see that Indian cricket has abandoned the absolutely logical transition of blooding youngsters by sacrificing the senior cricket one at a time by trying to retain our “best” team, and still managing to get their ass whooped and how!
Laxman needs to go! Sorry all you die hard Laxman fans, the guy has played some fabulous knocks for India and often has for some reason (again inexplicable), been made the scapegoats for defeat. But its time we blood in youngsters who play along with some senior players to get “test ready”. Even the once almighty Australians have shown us that it takes a while to transition to the next generation. And if we delay this any longer in the hope to win an odd series(or odd session as in our current scenario), the torture would be longer and more brutal.
Rethink Dhoni or Dhoni needs to Rethink! That kind of faith in your own ability overseas and that kinda knocks to exemplify it? India’s disastrous batting collapses and tame surrenders were never meant to be his fault but recently I’ve been questioning it.
